Bill Darcey is a highly experienced mining industry professional with over 40 years of international expertise in mining engineering and metallurgy. He has a proven track record of successfully managing, optimizing, and developing mining operations, with a particular focus on improving existing sites and driving the growth of new projects.

Throughout his career, Bill has held senior management, technical, and operational roles across the mining industry. His leadership positions include serving as Operations Manager at Consolidated Tin Limited’s Mt Garnet copper-lead-zinc operation, where he oversaw the successful start-up and management of an 800,000 TPA zinc-lead operation in China. He also led the Siana gold project in the Philippines as Project Manager and was the Resident Manager for various Western Australian mining operations, including the Lynas Find gold project.

In addition to these roles, Bill has served as Mine Superintendent at Dominion Mining’s Meekatharra operations, Metallurgical Manager at Emperor Gold Mine in Fiji, and contributed to the development of the Marandoo Iron Ore project as Project Mining Engineer. His extensive experience is underpinned by degrees in both mining engineering and metallurgy, making him a key leader in driving operational excellence and project development.
