SIMON NOON MAICD, FAIM
Managing Director & CEO
Simon was appointed a Director in October 2013 and is an experienced mining executive with a strong track record of advancing resource projects and securing the capital required to deliver them.
Since acquiring the Sorby Hills Project in 2018, Simon has led its transformation into a construction-ready project, raising the capital required to explore, evaluate and de-risk the asset. Under his leadership, Boab has delivered a 2.8x increase in the Mineral Resource, completed Pre-Feasibility and Definitive Feasibility Studies, secured key approvals and binding offtake agreements, and most recently secured approximately $350 million in funding to support project construction.
Previously, as Managing Director of Groote Resources Ltd, Simon oversaw its growth from a market capitalisation of less than $10 million to more than $200 million. He later co-founded West Rock Resources Ltd, where he managed joint ventures and strategic alliances with mid-tier and major mining companies and led the exploration, evaluation of resource projects across Australia and South America until West Rock was acquired by Boab Metals in 2013.
Simon is a committed member of the Western Australian resources industry, a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management.

Gary Comb is an engineer with over 30 years’ experience in the Australian mining industry and has a strong track record in successfully commissioning and operating base metal mines.
Gary was Chairman of Finders Resources Limited from 2013 until its take over in 2018, and was previously the Managing Director of Jabiru Metals Limited and the CEO of BGC Contracting Pty Ltd.

Non-Executive Director
Richard Monti is a geologist with a successful career of over 30 years in the international mineral resource industry, resulting in broad industry knowledge and strong strategic planning capabilities.
Richard has over 46 director-years’ experience on thirteen ASX and TSX listed mining and exploration companies from micro-caps through to mid-size miners and has built and managed teams of up to 70 personnel.
Richard was the principal of a corporate advisory firm, Ventnor Capital Pty Ltd, from 2005 to 2010 and is currently principal of Terracognita which supplies advice to resource industry companies.
Richard is currently also the Non-Executive Chairman of Zinc of Ireland NL (ASX:ZMI), Non-Executive Chairman of Alto Metals Ltd (ASX:AME) and Non-Executive Director of Caravel Minerals Limited (ASX:CVV).

ANDREW PARKER LLB
Non-Executive Director
Andrew Parker holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Western Australia and has significant experience in the exploration and mining industry and a wealth of expertise in corporate advisory, strategic consultancy and capital raisings.
Before joining Boab Metals Andrew was a director of Stadia Capital and he co-founded Trident Capital Pty Ltd, a corporate advisory and venture capital firm where he held the position of Managing Director until 2008.
Andrew has also held senior legal roles, such as General Counsel of previously ASX listed B Digital Ltd and was a Senior Associate of Price Sierakowski and Senior Associate of Summers Partners.
Andrew is currently also the Chairman of Widgie Nickel Limited (ASX: WIN).

SIMON L. DORLING, PhD
Exploration Manager
Dr. Simon Dorling is a geologist with extensive experience in the evaluation, exploration and development of mineral resources projects with a strong technical background and focuses on geological aspects of mineral systems.
Simon graduated in 1991 from the University of Bonn/Germany with a Masters Degree in Geology and in 1995 received a PhD from the University of Western Australia in Economic Geology. He has since been an industry geologist with small and medium size exploration and mining companies, but spent most of his career with a Perth-based geological consulting firm working on projects around the globe.
During his PhD, Simon gained specialist technical knowledge in sediment-hosted base & precious metal deposits and structural geology. Through the exposure to deposit settings in a variety of geological environments, over more than three decades, he has acquired the technical depth and a pragmatic approach to the application of science for exploration and mining.
