Health and Safety

At Boab Metals, the health, safety and wellbeing of our people is fundamental to how we work.

As we build the Sorby Hills Project and prepare for future operations, we are focused on creating a workplace where people look out for each other, risks are understood and managed, and everyone has a role to play in maintaining a safe working environment.

The development of a new mine brings together employees, contractors, suppliers and specialist teams across a wide range of activities. From construction and site works through to commissioning and future mining operations, each stage brings different risks and responsibilities.

Our approach is to consider health and safety from the outset and integrate it into the way work is planned, managed and carried out.

This means identifying hazards, assessing and managing risks, providing people with the information and training they need to work safely, and encouraging clear communication across our workforce and contactors. We want our people to take an active role in creating a safe workplace.
