The Kununurra Sun is a local magazine established in 2022 that shares good news stories about Kununurra and celebrates local people, businesses and the vibrant local community. The magazine promotes the liveability of Kununurra and its attraction as a tourism destination. The publication was created by two local people, Rosie Duffy and Jess Buchan who together volunteer their time to write and produce regular editions of the magazine throughout the year.
Boab Metals’ sponsorship of the magazine assists with the production and circulation costs. The magazine also provides the opportunity for Boab Metals to share information about the Sorby Hills Project and the other community endeavours it supports in the region.
